About the Nigerian Stuttering Association

The Nigerian Stuttering Association is a non-profit making society, non-political dedicated to promoting public awareness of the nature of stuttering, its treatment and the importance of early intervention. Nigerian Stuttering Association is also dedicated to improving the lives of all stutterers (children, teens and adults) by providing education and resources about stuttering and treatment. We speak for all Nigerians who stutter. Nigerian Stuttering Association educates the families and friends, teachers and allied professionals of people who stutter because they also feel the impact of stuttering being the closest person(s) to them.

Nigerian Stuttering Association is also dedicated to sensitising the general public and the employer of people who stutter on how to relate with them through workshop and seminars, posters, print and electronic media. The general public includes the government and her agencies, employers, educators and medical personnels.

The feelings of being alone for the stutterers can be down-heartling. Our main objective is to improve the conditions of stutterers and their relatives.
